Dinner at a restaurant, but never exchanging gifts or doing anything extravagant. Except if you count the one year after we split where he sent 10 different deliveries of flowers to my office. :( This year, being Chris and I's first Valentine's Day, I went in telling him "no celebrating, no gifts". I found out he's planned a weekend of surprises going from heading to the mountains for snow, camping in the pouring rain, putting up with his most unfavorite person in the world for a few hours, and professional pictures taken... The second we got there we felt it was going to be a disaster. After being seated 30 minutes after our reservation time and not getting our drinks ordered for another 20 we decided to leave. We were all dressed up, hungry and no place to go. Nearby was a Round Table pizza. We stopped in got a pizza, pitcher of beer and played AC/DC on the jukebox. Every year we head to the same Round Table for Valentines day and just enjoy each other.
