Stigma-Busting With A Calendar For Charity

As you probably know, I work with Band Back Together, a site dedicated to reducing mental health stigmas. I’ve been working with the fundraising group there, as well, and we have an AWESOME project to unveil. This project aims to spread the word about various conditions to help reduce stigma while also raising funds for the not-for-profit site.

13 people have gotten professional photos taken (my wedding photographer took my picture) and each month of this 2013 calendar features an individual’s photographic tribute to a musical album plus facts/interviews with the photo subjects regarding the issue they represent. We’ve worked long and hard on this calendar and, let me tell you, the pictures are gorgeous! My own picture is in tribute to Adele and I’m speaking out about Dissociative Disorder. Other important issues covered include baby loss, domestic violence, infertility, organ donation, military spouse, and more!

The calendars are on sale now at a discounted pre-purchase price – $20 for a single calendar, or $25 for a calendar bundle (with BB2G flair!) and can be purchased by clicking the button below.

I hope you will all consider making a purchase to support this important cause. I have a personal goal to sell 10 of these, so please, if you buy the calendar because you heard about it from me, put a note in Paypal with my name on it. I would very much appreciate your support!

Sharing is caring:

  1. I bought one a couple days ago, but didn’t know to put your name in the paypal comments – hopefully you can get it counted towards your goal! Good luck!

  2. I am super psyched to get mine and see all your lovely faces! I will just skip past December 2012. Shh, there’s no December 2012.

  3. I am psyched about the calendar!
